I also think it is a very delicious beer. With that being said, not so sure of some of the citrus hop flavors I am getting from it, which when I think of a european pilsner that is not what I am expecting. Then again, Sam Adams always seems to put a bit of an American twist on their beers in one way or another. At 7.99 a sixer, you can't go wrong! YUM! :jnj

I agree. This is a great beer. I had a few bombers of this with dinner. Prost Sam Adams. :jnj

I also got a citrus tang. That said, they claim the same thing as Victory: they use all 4 noble hops.

I've read that saphir is supposed to be very saaz-like, but i get a very similar aroma with Schneider-Brooklyn Hopfen Weisse. Maybe when you use some of these hops in high amounts you get some citrus.

I was kinda wondering about the citrus too. I love the beer but it kinda strikes me as a Pale Ale.

We had this at the club "Beer Wars" viewing last Saturday. Was pretty damn good as I recall. It got sandwiched between a Tasty APA and a Stone Levitation which may have affected my taste buds some.

They got 12s of SANP at Super 1 (amazing!), so we're definitely gonna try it again.

I thought it was weak in IBU and ABV. But, with this response I will have to try it again.

One of the few Pils I've enjoyed. Another great offering from Sam Adams.

I had this at applebees last weekend. I thought it was a great pils. Good bitterness supported with good pils malt. Sam Adams should be proud.
