Re: Lagunitas Hop Stoopid

I had Hop Stoopid last night for the first time. It was so beautiful I almost cried. All those delicious citrusy grapefruit flavors having an orgy on my tongue, it almost felt wrong but I could not say no. Then I had to drink my now second favorite IPA for the rest of the night, which tasted like a malt bomb after my taste bud being stunned.
My water tastes like shit, so I flavor it with malt, hops and yeast..Yum!

Hop Stoopid is probably my favorite budget imperial IPA. The only downside is that lack of freshness dating on their bottles. I would get it more often if I knew it was fresh.

Awesome brew. Would be nice to see brewers get by the stigma of using hop extract since the big brewers use it and some seem to shun it. Hop Stoopid, Pliny and others use it with fantastic results. As fattymattybrewing said, one of the best budget priced DIPAs around and the wide distribution is nice too.
