Ever Get Any Infected Brews?

I've had a few bottles of Jolly Pumpkin that gushed, but i love the ones that gush. All sorts of buggy.

i had a three floyds dark lord the first year it was out....aged it one year in optimum conditions and opened it on my birthday....3/4 bottle of yeast slurry. the bit of "beer" in the bottle was more like maple syrup. I PAID $20 FOR THAT P.O.S.

Same here. Couple bottle of La Roja that have gushed, but the beer inside was still perfectly delicious.

Aww, man! I just opened up a bottle of La Roja and it DIDN'T gush... Dammit!

Had a Duck Rabbit Brown ale that had an infection in the entire batch not long ago. It was in the flavor and it foamed like a monster when it poured, but I will say that is unusual, their beers are usually great.

I had a case of Weyerbacher some years ago (a big beer variety pack) where about 25% of the case had turned to malt vinegar (different beers, too). Some of the bottles had little chips in the mouth. I saw one of the brewers at the pub a few days later, and it turned out they had a problem with their bottling line where the capper was sometimes putting little cracks in the bottle necks or breaking them outright, allowing the bugs in. I got a free case out of the deal (and an appreciative brewmaster for not having a lawsuit from someone swallowing broken glass).
