Dominion Summer Wheat (Dunkelweizen)

Sun Jun 26, 2005 2:13 pm

12 oz. brown, longneck bottle. Bottled on 4/22/05. Very fresh sample. Poured out a hazy, medium brown color, with a fast fading, thin, white head. Aromas are of lactic wheat malt, some caramel, and sweet brown sugar. Earthy hops in the background. Rich mouthfeel, medium body. Some phenolics in the flavors, along with a brown sugar component. Phenolic aftertaste. Decent summer wheat overall.
