Bear Republic XP Pale Ale

Mon Jun 20, 2005 6:52 am

22 oz. brown bomber bottle. No freshness date seen anywhere. Poured out a deep golden straw color, with a huge white head at first. The head faded quickly back to a thin lacing on top of the beer, and down the sides of the glass. Aromas are of grapefruit hops, sweet malts, and yeast. A rather non-descript aroma for a rather non-descript beer. Tasted ok, had a bitter finish to it, but nothing to get excited over. An everyday, pedestrian beer in my opinion.
