Lafayette Brew Co.

I have been a fan of LBC ever since I have been able to drink, (3 years now). Yet I have never tried their Black Angus Oatmeal Stout until last Monday. I was in town to visit some friends and we decided to go and get some dinner and a beer. Well we ended up eating then playing cards there and closing the place down at midnight. Well After a few Prophets Rocks I decided to never up and try the stout. Well it was amazing. Very well balanced, not bitter at all or heavy like some oatmeal stouts get. It was extremely drinkable and it was an enjoyable time. And at oer 6% ABV I was feeling great.
Fermenting: empty
Keg: amber ale and cream soda
Bottled: none
Up Coming Brews: possible peach wheat, Okonokos Orange IPA, Mocha Milk Stout, Solly's Red Arrow Ale

I tried their beer three different times. I haven't been since Chris left and started People brewing co., haven't tried it yet. If you go up North to Michigan City, stop by Shoreline brewery, beer is awesome and the food is excellent! :jnj
