I have the flat filter that takes two pads and lost the instructions. Instead sitting here liking the windows I'd like to use it.

Two questions:
1. Rough side out or in?
2. Is the inlet the single line or double?

Rough sides point toward each other. Inlet is the single one that goes in middle, outlet is the two that come from the outside.

Thanks for response!

Believe it or not, I IM'd JP as the show was starting and he got the answer for me. Way to go Jipper! Thanks!

OK, next question: It took a couple of hours to filter 5 gallons of beer with a coarse pad running between 5 and 10lb of pressure, bleeding the receiving keg every few minutes. I raised the receiver up over the original keg to minimize foaming. Since the beer was carbonated, is that amount of time normal?

All times are UTC - 8 hours
