I'm running 2 Kegs off a T spliter. I have the psi at 10, but the flow out of the tap seems high. Are there any other concerns I should know about, drawing from one keg to another?

If your running two kegs of the same beer why not daisy chain the kegs?

Lots of charts out there explaining pressure drop per foot of beer line. rule of thumb for us homebrewers, 3/16" ID line has a pressure drop of 2psi/ft. We run 5 feet to counter any large flows you may get from too big of a line or too short, making foamy beer.

I set my regulator at 10Psi for most of my ales. I have a spare reg for other beer styles that require more or less carbonation for their style.

One keg is a multi grain red and one is a pumpkin ale. I have a 63" hose from regulator to T splitter, and 2 31" hoses from T to the kegs.

I believe the important length mentioned above is from keg to tap.

The length of your beer line has inpact on foaming, not the gas line. The longer the beer line, the more resistance and the less foaming, within reason. 7-10 feet has always worked well for me.

One thing to be aware is that unless your running a check valve on each keg the pressure drop in the keg your drawing from might not be enough to activate the regulator and you will get some c02 transfer between the kegs. It might not be a big deal on similars beer but if one is hoppy and the other is not, the non-hoppy beer will pick up a hoppy aroma. However that has nothing to do with your pour problems just something I thought you should be aware of.

thanks guys, I ll watch out for that. Its just a temporary fix for a football party I'm having. Eventually Ill be running a manifold.
