Beer Faucet lock

Fri Apr 22, 2011 4:50 pm

I just got two faucet locks. I am really having a hard time getting them to work right. I can't to get them on tight enough. If there is any wiggle room from the tap, beer can still pour. The keylock is set up for 90 degree turns, so I can pull the key in 4 spots turning clockwise. Even so, it is either barely too loose and can't turn the key all the way around the next stop.

I have just standard faucets like shown in the picture.

Has anyone else had any experience with these types of locks? Any advise?

Thanks in advance

I just tell the family "Hey, go easy on the Pils - there isn't much of it left" and if the situation is really desperate shut off the valve on the coupler inside the cooler. It's such a jumble of hoses in there they would never figure out how to turn it back on. I guess I could insure that by locking the cooler but I've never done it (probably couldn't find the key).
