forward seal faucets worth it?

I am thinking of building either a chest freezer based or refrigerator based draft set up. Looking at faucets, and although the forward seal types are not crazy expensive, they are a fair amount more than the other types, and if I buy 3 or 4 it adds up quickly. For people with more experience than me, is it really worth the extra money for these? I don't want to spend more than necessary, but I also don't want to buy the other faucets and then have to get rid of them and buy the forward seal ones anyways. Thanks for the input.

The SS Forward Seal faucets are 100% worth the extra coin, especially when compared to the chrome Rear Seal faucets. I had both at the same time on my kegerator and every time I nearly pulled the tap handle off because of the sticky rear seal faucet, I swore never again. I quickly replaced the Rear Seal faucet.

Forward sealing SS faucets are the only way to go. Worth every cent extra.

Yes, very worth it. It is crazy aggrivating when you want to pour a beer after a long day and the sombitch is stuck.

If there is not enough buy in already on this, I concur that Foward sealing is the only way to go for home use.
I will qualify that, Bars use there tabs so frequently and have cleaning procedures in place that they do not have issue with rear sealing faucets. But for us home keggers this is not the case. Now I know this statement is going to get me grief but what the hell, there are times when I do not use my faucets for a couple of days with the foward sealing you can leave the taps along for a month, would not recommend due to dying of lack of beer, however, you could leave them for a month and go back to them and they would still be working like a champ!

Well worth it, unless you never go a day without hitting every tap and you clean regularly.
