In my keezer. I have it in a 1/2 gallon jug of water sitting against the side at the bottom. Is this going to give me an accurate reading of the whole general temp. or should it be in the middle or even on the shelf. Seems the inside is sweaty near the bottom and the top near the lid is warmer. Any suggestions
Thanks

If you are going to use the jug method, you want some way to position it about half way up the inside of the freezer. You can figure on anything above being slightly warmer and everything below slightly colder, so the middle should be just about right. Another method is to simply tape the probe right to the side of a full keg. This will give you an accurate beer temperature as long as there is beer on the other side of the keg wall right there.
