So it seems to me that everytime I bottle the beer clears up almost over night vs leaving it in the keg. I tried it again the other day with a month old German pilsner. In the keg the beer comes out clear but far from lagered clear. If I bottle that same beer it will get twice as clear overnight. I have tried this three times and it has worked everytime. Does anyone know why it works?

Well, for one thing you are decanting the bottled beer from the top leaving the sediment in the bottle. With the keg you are drawing off the bottom where all the sediment settles.
