Picnic Tapper

Ok, this probably wins the dumbest question of the day award, but...
I have 2 kegs that I have picnic tappers connected to, and have poured a couple of pints through (quality control  ) I'm taking these kegs to a party this weekend, what happens to the beer in the tap lines if I disconnect from the keg? Will I have beer all over, or is it trapped in the lines? Ok, ok, now that you've had your laugh, please help a keg noob out. Thanks

:drink

The beer gets trapped in the lines.

just make sure the put something rolled up in between the actuating leever and rubber band it to prevent it's self-opening during transit.

OT: monk, i see we joined up like two week apart! :jnj

The beer gets trapped in the lines, you should fill a keg with sanitizer and when not in use, run sanitizer through the lines that you leave in the picnic tap when not in use.

That is also my standard procedure. Also it is quite handy to have some star san on tap in the brewery instead of having to mix it up fresh every time.
