keg lid help

so, I first started off with 4 pin lock kegs. 2 of them Cornelius brand, 2 of them APC (Alloy Products Corp.) brand. 3 of them came with the standard pin lock lid with no hand release pressure valve. They just had that little knob with the holes in it that I guess would just let go if pressure ever got to high. The 4th keg had the standard pull ring release valve and I would use it as often as possible since it was easy to bleed head pressure by pulling the ring.

I made the decision that I wanted all pull ring pressure release valves so I bought 3 of these thinking I'd be all set once they arrived. Well, one of them doesn't have feet, but whatever, I can mock up some feet. 2 of them appear to be the flipper valve type of pressure release valve and the third one just has a post sticking out of it with a hole in the end of the post. I'm guessing it used to be a flipper type lid, but the flipper part broke off.

Can I just replace the flipper thing with a pull ring and be all set? I guess I had better hopes for what I was going to get. I have no idea of the pressure relief valves on and of these things work. I guess I should just put them on a keg and cram it full of CO2 to see if they hold pressure?

Any help appreciated

Matt

Did you intend to post a link for a lid? That link is to a pull ring PRV. I gather from your post you bought lids, though.

If the PRV will thread in, it should work.

I fixed the link to the lids I bought.

So, I can just unscrew the flipper relief valves and replace them with the pull ring relief valves that I incorrectly linked to?
