Blending in Kegs Question

Hey,

Does anyone know a good, realtively accurate method of blending beers in corny kegs? For instance, if you have 3 kegs of beer and you want to blend them together in a particular ratio (say, 40% / 40% / 20%) into an empty corny keg. Is there a good way to measure each of the beers as they are going into the empty keg so you can hit the ratio target? (this assumes the transfers are made with jumper lines between the kegs to minimize any contamination risks)?

I know JP mentioned the problem on this past Sunday's show, but he did not get around to describing how they did it.

Thanks in advance!

I think the way I would try it would be to do it by weight using a scale. As long as you know the full weight and tare weight of a corny, then you could know the weight of each beer you will need.

That's a great idea Travisty - thank you!

You can also cool the kegs and do the transfer on a hot day. The condensation on the keg will tell you the level.
