Did I do this right???

So a week ago I bottled an ordinary bitter from Brewing Classic Styles. My system limits me to doing half batches so the bottled amount was 2.5 gallons. The recipe calls for 1-1.5 volumes of CO2. So according to the nomograph in the back, at about 68 degrees I would need 1.5 oz of dextrose for 5 gallons. divided by 2 = .75 oz. This seemed really low to me. I just want to make sure I'm not screwing this up on the next batch.
