Golden Strong Line length

Mon Jan 11, 2010 6:31 am

So I am doing my first Belgian at the proper carb, 4 volums instead of 2.5-3. My question is how long do I make the hose if I will be running the pressure at 25psi @ 35deg. Also, any other suggestions on this will be greatly appreciated.
Shut up, Mr. Burton! You are not brought upon this world to get it!

It's going to depend on the ID of the beer line you're using and a few other things, like the height of the taps, etc. There are simple formulas to use to calculate length, but here's a good article from BYO that explains a lot:

I'm guessing you're going to have to start with about 10 feet.
