I have one primary regulator (dual gauge). Need to expand. Would you add another primary or secondary?
Pros and cons of both options?

Do you just want to be able to pressurize more kegs? If so, I'd just get a manifold.

If you want multiple pressures, I think the best way to do it would be to get a primary regulator with the right number of gauges on it. A secondary would probably be a little cheaper and work fine too. I have a secondary. It works well, but the two downsides are... more tubing and it's not as responsive as a primary. The primary is working from 600 psi of pressure. My secondary can only take a feed of 30 to 40 psi, so it's a bit slower.

The goal is to have different pressures for different styles of beer.

I have a few secondary regulators in the kegerator attached to a 2way manifold. That way I can dial in the pressure on my primary (typically the highest pressure setting for my belgians), and then I can run my secondarys at a lower pressure.

This allows me to have 4 different pressure settings. My kegerator has 5 taps, so I have one line going to a tee to split off to two kegs.
