regulator parts

Fri Oct 02, 2009 12:39 pm

Looking at the prices most places charge for pre-assembled regulators has me thinking there has to be a cheaper way to DYI. Anyone know where to get my hands on regulator bodies with nothing attached so I can assemble my oun multi-regulator bank? I have tried googling everything I can think of but only find ones with gauges and valves already attached.

Thanks!

You could go to Rapids and buy single regulators (with low pressure gauge, CGA-320 connector, valve and barb) for $39.79 each and assemble them (you'd need a couple of nipples and a plug for the last in line) or you can buy 4 ganged for $157. Not much saving there unless you buy the regulators by the dozzen in which case the price goes down to $33.95.
