Root beer question

I just made some root beer and kegged it up.
I realize I'll have to change out all the rubber now or keep it as a dedicated root beer keg.
My question is, what about the ball out and gas in QD's and picnic tap? Are they going to be un-beer-worthy?
Thanks,

Unless you have all SS disconnects, I would dedicate for soda.

i have a keg of root beer regularly. i keep that cobra and keg dedicated because i havent yet tried to autoclave my line that took on the rb color in short order. the dip tube seals as well get the taste em them. rb and dr pepper are the bad ones. although i should make some lemonaid to see if my tubing does off flavor or not. once i get a kegerator going im going to have a flare tail piece instead of barb on one shank to have a dcon ready in 3 seconds. i dont want to spend another $65 on a perlick/shank/flange solely for rb. thats extreme.

I have had good results in boiling the crap out of the cobra tap and keg QDs.
