In the next few months I'll able to spend about $500 on kegging equipment. I already have a commercial refridgerator (from a business my wife and I owned) it has room for up to 6 cornies and a 20lb bottle. I know a bunch of you have systems and I would like some suggestions on the best places to get the things I need... cornies, lines, taps and such. Thanks...

Craigslist has been an amazing treasure trove for items that people have no idea what the values are - I bought a 20# CO2 canister for $20 from a guy. SCORE!

Other great sites you can compare prices from include www.Micromatic.com, www.chicompany.net, www.midwestsupplies.com etc.

If you know the exact part(s) you need you can very quickly ue google to narrow it down to the best prices available. Good luck, this is an awesome addition - almost as much fun as brewing.

Most of the sponsors carry good kegging equipment. I think it's initially worth the money to buy the rebuilt kegs that have already been cleaned and have had gaskets replaced. Also, buy a gasket rebuild kit for each of the kegs you start out buying- it'll be worth it in the long run.

I buy them from McMaster Carr, way cheaper! This list is an old posting from another site so the prices have gone up a little. But I have had great luck with these guys.

CO2 tank = Craigslist
Regulator = Micromatic
Corny Kegs = Local Soda Distributor ($20 each)
Hoses, disconnects, cobra taps = Morebeer

And then I built the keezer with parts from Austin Homebrew. :jnj
