Kegging and Storing

I have a Pale Ale that I want to keg and take to Ommegang with me this weekend. It is currently in the secondary. My temp controlled freezer is full so I can't chill it down. I also don't want to have to worry about keeping the keg cold in the car for 5 hours. Can I just rack the beer from the secondary into the keg and carbonate at my basement temp (66 F), then drive it up to Ommegang, chill it down and tap it. Thanks. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds fine to me just make sure you adjust your pressure up to compensate for the higher temp.
