Breweries that fill 5 gallon cornies?

Fri Jul 17, 2009 8:13 am

I remember a guest on one of the old Sessions saying that his brewery would fill a 5 gallon corny with their commercial beer if someone wanted. Maybe I'm just imagining that, though. For those times when I'm out of homebrew, or having a party, this would be a good option. Does anyone know if any of the brewpubs or micros in the Bay Area would fill a 5 gallon corny keg that I brought to them>

I know the BJs and Rock Bottoms here in AZ will do it so you might want to check with one of those. I generally have to drop it off the night before and the brewer will fill it when they have free time.

This isnt in the Bay Area, but Alpine Beer Company in San Diego will fill them. You usually have to give them several days to do it though.
