I want to use fruit juice for priming a Black Cherry Brown Wheat Ale so that the juice only goes through one fermentation stage leaving more flavor.Question is...Does Fructose work the same as cane sugar for priming, and what I mean is...If 3 oz. of cane sugar will prime my batch, would 3 oz. fructose prime by batch?Or would I need more,or less fructose to equal the amount of cane sugar needed to prime my batch? :pop

I think this was covered in Justin's Hell Freezes Over Show. I seem to remember Doc talking about it. http://thebrewingnetwork.com/shows/The-Sunday-Session/The-Sunday-Session-01-14-07-Hell-Freezes-Over But don't take my word for it. I drink.
