can i put a mixed drink in my kegerator?

Mon Mar 23, 2009 7:20 pm

having a party this weekend and want to have a mixed drink on tap for the chicks. making skip'n go naked, its three gallons beer(using tasty's peach dortmunder), half gallon vodka, four cans lemonade concentrate. I was gonna let the concentrate warm up and pour it through a screen to pull out the pulp. Does anyone have any input about this idea. I dont want to wreck my tap.

Hell yes, do it. Just clean everything afterward. You might get a touch of girly drink taint in your hose. On the other hand, you might get a drunk girly to touch your taint and hose. Might be worth the risk. Just to be on the safe side, you should rifle through some purses for beer line replacement money after the girls pass out.

Just use a cooler for the drink.

I do use separate lines for non-beer drinks (ciders and hard lemonades) but for mixed drinks (like a Hop-Skip-Run Naked) I just use a 5-gal cooler.

the tap will be fine, you might have to replace the beer line but thats cheap

as long as the lemonade doesn't have artifical flavorings then the beer line should be fine

I was thinking the same thing, 1/2 gallon seems like bringin it weak.
