I left a couple of kegs hooked up whilst I was in California.

Short of drinking shave foam, what to do...

I don't have pressure release cornies... btw.

and what PSI do you set your regs to... I think this one might be a little frisky...

Balancing your system is a lengthy topic... but things that affect it will be:

1. tempurature of beer
2. Pressure (psi)
3. Length of line/ diameter of line/restriction
4. nature of the distance travelled (up/down/parallel)

In GENERAL.... around 38-40 degrees, and a 5 foot line, you want to set your psi to about 9-11 (for aprox. 2-2.5 vol's of CO2).

If you don't have pressure relief valves.... you can take off the CO2 disconnect from the keg in, and depress the poppet with a sani'ed screwdriver or whatever. That will vent the keg. Make sure its the IN and not the OUT.... because the out will shoot beer all over the place!!

Vent them a couple of times (every 20-30 mins), until things seems to calm down a bit.

Eat plenty of beans and lift your leg during the release but don't sneeze or push too hard or you'll pull a Pope.
