Do I need to rack?

I primary for 2 weeks and keg. I add gelatin and let it sit for 5 days. My normal routine is to rack to fresh kegs. Do I really need to do this? Today I tapped it and let it go until I got clear beer. Do I have to rack to fresh kegs, or can I carb it up as it stands?

"I won't rack, motherfucker, if you do - you're risking O2"....

(sorry)

If I use gelatin I will rack. Otherwise my brite tank and serving tank are one in the same. First yeasty pint gets sacrificed to the beer gods and poured down the drain. Clear from then on in.

Why should I rack? If I pour off the cloudy beer and stop when clear. What's left at the bottom that I should rack off?

I'm noticing that as well. Just let the bugger sit still and carbonate for a week. The first pint goes in the garden. I pour it on the banana plants.

If you have a snail problem, leave the brew in a bowl. It is eco friendly to everything except the snails that drown in it.

Okay. The reason I asked was all my kegs are full. I want to CPBF a few of them to free up some kegs. But, it may take awhile because I am busy with other things at the moment.

With geletin in the keg, don't you have a problem stopping up your quick-connects?
