Large relief valves?

Wed Dec 03, 2008 7:32 pm

I bought some used kegs, and one keg had a large pressure relief valve installed in a 3/4" hole in the keg lid. After cleaning, I couldn't get it to seal off and cracked the plastic nut on the underside. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement PRV or a used lid? I can't seem to find either on B3, NB, Austin Homebrew, Chi Company, or Williams.

Thanks

Sorry, but I think the nut you broke is for the style of pressure relief valve that isn't made any more. You might try taking it down to a decent hardware store to locate a stainless steel nut that will fit (though I doubt you will find one). The alternative would be to buy another lid. Here is a source I have used for keg parts. http://stores.kegconnection.com/Categor ... s+for+Kegs
