Condensation in Chest Freezer?

Mon Oct 13, 2008 7:23 am

How do you manage the condensation that happens in a chest freezer when the temp is between 37 and 43 degrees F?

Is that something wrong with my unit, or is this just what happens?

I use the damp rid stuff in my kegerator. It does a rel good job. The only thing that I run into is that I have an older fridge and it get a LOT of condensation. Not a worry, I know why. It leaks like crazy around the seals. But that's a whole other issue. :)

Don't you have to chuck the damp rid when it's full of moisture? Anyone recommend a particular dessicant that is reusable?
