Ok need help here
I recieved a tube of "sanitary petrol gel lubricant" with a kegging system...
I cannot find my silicone keg lube, is this ok or will it eat my O rings?

here is what the tube says on it...
U.S.P Mineral Oil and other USP ingredients... Absolutely tasteless, odorless
High melting point
Will not taint when coming in contact with food products.
Impervious to water

technical white grease
valves - pistons - O rings - Gaskets sanitary pumps.... blah blah blah
I need to keg soon... like last week .... and just replaced all my O rings

BUB - That's the only keg lube I have been using since I started kegging 8 years ago (and that tube is 8 years old). I bought it at the LHBS back in CT. A little goes a long way.

Doesn't work as stache wax.... Ask me how you know.

You should also keep food products away from your taint.
