Re: My little keezer baby

Instead of mounting casters directly to the keezer, I built a beefy platform and made it slightly wider so I could store the CO2 tanks on the side and move the whole thing around with 8 full kegs inside.

It comes apart easy for transport.

I am gong to make a box for the tanks on the side in the future and incorporate that with the collar, but still make it knock down should I have have to move the thing somewhere.

Now that I have seen your idea, I may try that instead and maybe insulate the cavity and hook up a fan to blow air from below and keep the ends of the lines chilled as this is in an unconditioned space at the moment and it can go up to the 90's in summer.

Nice work. Sorry about losing the pils, what a loss. Consider using oetiker clamps for all your connections.

I got it cleaned up eventually, it was just a pain in the ass :eek
Luckily it was one of the cheaper recipes to make, only like $13.

Oh, and I should mention the GLORIOUS list of what's on tap!
KiltDropper (scottish)
Strawberry Chocolate
Honey Apple Ale (LIQUID CANDY)
Nut Brown
T2 Cider (hard apple cider)
German Pale Ale
Italian Soda (just carbed up water, caffeine, and taurine. I have 6 different flavor syrups for adding to the glass)
Dargon Mulk (Dragon's Milk clone)
Star San (yumyum)

Beer being kegged this week:
Brownie Beer (what the name says)
Mad Cow (Russian Imperial Milk Stout)

I'm having to bottle the Wee Heavy because I've run out of kegs...

I find that drinking more helps to avoid this problem.

I would suspect a Wee Heavy is a good candidate to bottle - this style appears to need some age to it to help round it out. I kegged up a Scotch Ale last summer and seems to have finally come together after 7 months of aging (at 40F).

This seems kinda counterproductive to keeping my slender girlish figure though :eek
