My local Macgyver at work suggested Duplicolor Adhesion Promoter. Looks like that may do the trick. After applying I should be able to use any paint, although they have some great colors as well. I think I'm going to give that a try. I'll report back.

I'm just making the leap to kegging (thanks MoreBeer Deal of the Day and your corny keg deal) and I've got the wife convinced that THAT is a great idea. I'm thinking that we'll paint the entire front of the fridge with that stuff so we can keep track of what we've got in the freezer (hops and what-no) and what's on tap. That's a bit down the road for me... but I'm trying to walk the walk.

Cheers!

I am thinking about taking SS and swirling it with a grinder and then fitting that on my fridge and then frame out an area above my taps and paint with chalkboard paint so I am able to identify my brews on tap.

You don't have to go crazy with the sanding if you use the right primer. My dude recommended the Zinzer's all purpose latex primer. Top coat with your color of choice. Mine hasn't flaked off, yet. I painted my freezer about two years ago.

You could go with whatever color floats your boat, but use magnetic chalkboards on the front. A friend of mine did this to his black kegerator and it looks really classy and it probably took him 30 seconds to put the chalkboard on the front (magnets!)
