Been there, done that! That's why I have these 2 steps in this order:

Reopen the bleeder just a touch to allow pressure to equalize a bit.
Take the filler out.

I'd either go 2 psi or so extra for a day or 2, or I'd just drop the temp of the whole kegerator to 34F or something for a couple days, and the lower temp will push more co2 into solution. Both ways work.

Rather than bumping the PSI or lowering the temp I modified the length of the hose.
