Wow, I really wasn't feeling well last night. I picked one up at the local homebrew store last night and noticed it didn't lock down and it didn't dawn on me why. However, I'm not using it under any significant pressure, so I am hoping the lack of a locking connection won't cause any trouble. (I may change my mind when I find myself covered in starsan or break a connector)

Thank you,
Jim

Northern Brewer sells a corney plug adapter (FFL on inside post by coney keg threads on outside) that you could use. Here is a similar project . http://www.thegatesofdawn.ca/wordpress/ ... e_cleaner/

If you were not going to pressurize the cleaner/sanitizer, you would have to remove the spring from the beverage disconnect

You dont need to take off the black LQD and put on the gas one with a carb cap. All you need is a little sand paper. Cant remember where I saw this, think it was the green board, but I did it and it works. The size of a gas in post, like the carb cap, is just slightly bigger than the beer out post. Just sand a bit around the top of the carb cap, where the QD would fit on. Sand a little bit and try...sand some more and try again. just a little needs to be taken off, but like I said, I did it and it works. Then just put the carb cap on a 1L bottle or a coke bottle or whatever and hit it with gas. take the gas off and hook up the keg line and let it run out. Quick, clean keg lines.
I'm smelling a lot of IF comming offa this plan!
