Yeah, I don't really want to move the damn thing. My advice is to get a fridge/freezer thats shelves are not the coolant lines. I'm going to look into getting it recharged.

Stewbacca- How would I seal it?

I would look into soldering a cap onto the lines or something like that. maybe covering with some epoxy as extra insurance.. Im definitely not a ref tech so i wouldnt know for sure but that would be my best guess..

I think you would have to braze it. Kinda like soldering, but much hotter.

Are those aluminum tubes or steel? Either way your best bet's probably doing to be brazing. Epoxy should work, but it's not ideal. Just make sure to get the right kind of epoxy for the metal you're working with.
