Using Mexican Coke bottles

I bought some Coca Cola from Costco today that was bottled in Mexico.

They're 12 ounces and not twist off. Any reason why I couldn't bottle beer in these? (I realize it seems silly to bottle beer in Coke bottles, this is more of a "can I" rather than a "should I" question)

Of course you can, but you probably shouldnt. Beer in clear bottles is exposed to getting light struck, or skunky. Not a good idea, but do a couple and taste the difference for yourself

They'll work fine. Just keep them out of the light to avoid skunking. :pop
