I went to my LHBS yesterday and bought replacement poppets, but unfortunately they don't fit. After much searching, it seems that I have what northern brewer refers to as "type B" posts. Here is a pic of the gas in post that I have

Unforunately, my liquid out post does not look like what NB shows as their "type B" liquid out post. I'm not sure about this.

I finally found a pic of the poppet that I have:

Does anyone have experience with these posts or poppets? Will the more standard poppets (like these http://www.northernbrewer.com/brewing/poppet-valve-type-b-all-cornelius.html) fit these posts? Based on what NB says, it seems that they should.

After all of this, I think that I am done trying to remove poppets when I clean my keg!

For what it's worth, the keg that I have this issue with was manufactured by Sharpsville Container. http://sharpsvillecontainer.com/cart/in ... f6acpouqo1
