PrimIng sugars

Tue Oct 05, 2010 5:01 pm

I have a Tripel fermenting now and have been thinking about what kind of sugar I should use to bottle condition with.
I have used corn sugar for a while now and just wanted to do something different on this batch.,, could a honey or candi sugar contribute any better flavors when used for conditioning?
It's a Tripel... OG 1083... All grain if it matters... Thanks in advance!

usually priming sugars are in such small amounts...you do not get much of anything but CO2 from any addition....

Ok cool... I kinda figured that.... I guess it all depends what sugars go in to the boil... I used some raw cane sugar in this one... The recipe called for two pounds and I didn't think to order any candi sugar... Oh well should turn out good...
