Kegerator!

Love it! I built it from a Frigidaire FRC445GM, and various parts bought from more beer. Two kegs *barely* fit inside, but there's plenty of room for the C02 tank on the compressor bump in the back. I had a little problem with the elbow joints leaking, but rebuilding the faucets fixed that real quick.

I ran copper pipes up inside the tower to keep the beer between the fridge and the faucets cold. They extend about 2" into the interior of the fridge.

This was a way easier project than I expected!

Nice idea on the copper pipes. Let me know how it works

I have a similar keg setup and you can fit a 3 gallon keg as well as 2 5 gallon kegs if you sit the smaller keg on the ledge in the back of the fridges (you also have to remove the storage shelves from the door).

and just fyi, i found that in the summer, the difference in temps between the metal faucet and the beer will always cause some foaming on the first poor until the faucet temp equalizes with the beer.

Yeah, I've removed all of the shelving. The 3-gallon keg doesn't fit with the CO2 tank, right? You have to have the tank outside?

That's what the copper's for :). I know some people put a little fan below the base to blow cool air up into the tower too.
