Well, there's cracks, and then there's _*CRACKS*_! If you've ever seen the Grand Canyon (or Jennifer Lopez) you know what I mean.

A siphon tube would put out a bolus of liquid CO2, which would evaporate rapidly in the secondary stage, and produce a pressure spike.

If it's not a siphon tube (or a similar tank problem) then I really don't see why three different regulators, of different makes and types, would display the same symptom.

I'll ask BB at work tomorrow. He hangs out there sometimes. I'm not sure why ;).
