All of my liquid lines are Micromatic, never had any issues with off flavors.

Interesting. My lines are all, I believe, Micromatic and I have never noticed the taint. Perhaps I'm an insensitive but a couple of other things come to mind. The lines are all cold right up to the shanks. They do get cleaned with caustic and acid every couple of months whether they need it or not (that last bit is a joke). They have been in there for a couple of years and I am wondering if the taint doesn't come from plasticizer rather than the plastic itself. As it is getting into the beer it is obviously being leached out of the plastic and I wonder if eventually it might all be "washed" away.

Perhaps. From what I have read, if you have a normal vinyl line and pour a whole pint, the plastic taste is typically undetectable.
