Beer lables and botteling

Fri Jul 03, 2009 12:48 pm

A good story for your entertainment:

So I was soaking my bottles to remove the lables in a couple of buckets. One of them was my botteling bucket. I removed the bottles, threw out the starsan solution and the threw in my priming sugar solution and beer. When I was done bottling I realized that I had forgotten to rise out the bucket and there was still some pieces of lables that had fallen off in the bucket.

The silver lining is that I my beer disapears almost as fast as at the rat pad (mostly due to me), so I doubt that anything will ever have a fighting chance to show up.
Bottled: Dunkeweizen, Dark English Mild
Fermenting: Oatmeal Stout
