Well, you just have to love the gov't regulations. They make it pretty difficult to think for yourself sometimes. As you learned for yourself by reading one book, theres really no mystery, its sure not like you are splitting atoms or something, yet the laws are strick and the fines are hefty and sometimes a person can get himself in a pile of trouble without even trying..

For future reference, if you pop a coolant line, just find an auto repair shop that recharges and/or repairs air conditioners. Same type of coolant, and they have to do it all the time for cars and its pretty cheap.
