Beer Engine Addition

So I got an English Beer Pull Engine and I have a Kegerator with a single tower and enough room for two 5 gal kegs... My dream of having two beers on tap was about to come true. Usually the engines attach to the top of the bar, before i realized it my next project was right in front of me. With a thirst and a hammer, the dream came true...




I made a boxed in top that fits over the kegerator. The engine slides in the left side the beer line goes down the tower in the middle. I have room on the right side where I keep a few growlers. I put a front on it with U cut in the top middle for the tower's faucet. Then spray painted the front with chalkboard paint to write what beers are on tap. Also a long hole in the front to slide in a drip tray.

Oh man that is great! I like that you put in a beer engine instead of going right for the stout faucet. The rough and uneven writing area was a good choice. Way better than if it were a rectangle.

I bet that beer engine costs a pretty penny!

I came up on the engine off of ebay, it's rare to see one located in the states but if you see one that is where you'll end up with a hell of a deal. I only had to replace one hose inside of it (about 3 in. from the pump to the faucet) and, pump cleaner through it.

I'm really happy with how well it turned out! Using it, depending on how hard you pull, the base can slightly rock forward(unoticeably after a few), ... but other then that it's solid.
