And there is the difference between the CPF and the beer gun. Less foaming - since the bottle is only slightly under the pressure of the keg vs. the beergun where the pressure diff is much greater.

You could also bottle right from a bottling bucket given the proper connections. No real advantages with regards to preserving carbonation levels, but you can purge with CO2.
