Keg Tagging Source

Sun Feb 22, 2009 5:11 pm

I'm in search of tags that I can use to label my kegs. What I'm looking for are tags that are 3"x4" that would attach with a piece of wire. Anyone have a source for these type of tags?

I use this kind of tag all the time for my kegs, except with string instead of wire. You can get them at Office Depot, Staples, or any of the other big office supply places.

I was looking for those as well, but could not find any at my office supply store.

At the moment I am taking a 3x5 index card, punching a hole in the corner and attach it to the keg with a long rubber band.

I made my tags out of a plastic water jug. Same material as a milk jug but the water jug has straight sides so the tags aren't curved. Anyway, I write on them with a sharpie. The ink won't wash off but wipes off easily with an alcohol swab. I attach them with wire. They kick ass and are free.

I was looking for tags like that, but had to settle for 1 3/4" x 1 3/32" with string. I just have to write small. :)

Go to your local dry cleaner they have plastice tags that you put inserts in. They use them for delivery bags.

Very close. Same size but with strings instead of wires. The local store has them in packages of 50 for considerably less $$$.
