This idea of balancing your line length, diamater, and pressure...Doesn't it mean you'll be changing out your lines each time you tap a beer with a different volume of CO2?

Sounds like a lot of work.

No problem. Glad I could be of service. :jnj

Hey, just because I know what is IS (courtesy of BrewTa2), doesn't mean I am any less repulsed by it. Your the dude that chose it for his avatar... Just sayin'.

Oh, and BTW - Sailor Jerry rocks - and so does the spiced rum that bears his name.

You would normally use a separate regulator for each different pressure.

On the Q&A section on one of the links they mention filtering the air:

http://hbd.org/clubs/franklin/public_ht ... lance.html

I imagine they are talking about filtering the air used when you oxygenate the beer with an aquarium pump.

I have never seen the CO2 used for dispensing needing filtration, or do some folks do that? I currently do not filter the gas from the Oxygen tank when I aerate the wort, should I consider doing this? Or have all gasses been cleaned up before putting in the tank? I am using Oxygen in a 5lb tank from the gas store, not the small tanks that you have at Home Depot.

I just rigged up a 5 port manifold in my evolving chest freezer last weekend and currently have 4 kegs on gas!

They also mention a weekly cleaning of draft lines with PWD and LLC. Seems like it might be good practice at a bar, but might be slight overkill for a home setup? I would think a good cleaning after changing each keg would be good practice, but maybe more frequent cleanings are better?
