An easy way to get that thick creamy head on a single glass of beer is to get a 20 ml or larger syringe (available at any farm store or at a drug store if you can convince the pharmacist you aren't some kind of drug addict), suck up a bit of beer and forcefully squirt it back into the glass. This will give you the same results as using a restrictor plate in a stout faucet without all the expense.
