So I decided to do the Baltic Porter first and then the Oktoberfest when the Porter is done so once again I am seeking the advice of you wise people.

Which yeast should I use to brew an Oktoberfest?

I'm thinking one of the following:

WLP830 GERMAN LAGER YEAST
WLP820 Oktoberfest/Märzen Lager Yeast
or
Wyeast 2124 Bohemian Lager yeast

I've never done a lager so I'm kinda lost folks, can ya help me decide and junk?

WLP833 is the easiest of the German lager yeasts I have used. It's almost a no miss and is fine for an Oktoberfest.

I prefer WLP820 over the 830. Keep in mind WLP820 lags and is slow so it might drive you insane with lack of activity since this is your first lager.

Don't use WLP820. It is a shit yeast that should not be sold. You have been warned.

Agreed as well with the 820. Very slow starter and doesn't always fully attenuate properly. WTF?
For ease of use, the WY 2124 strain is great, clean, and quite versatile.
