I recently used WLP013 for a sweet stout. Good sized starter, good aeration. Pitched at 64F, let it rise to 68F over 36hours or so. I like to use glass so I can observe the action. It kicked off pretty quickly, but the krausen never got more than an inch or two thick. After the 2nd day, it crashed hard.
Is this pretty normal for this yeast?
Admittedly, I haven't got out a hydrometer yet, it's been a week. Just wondering about the activity profile.
